Foundation History
The Granville Health System Foundation was founded in 1984 for the purpose of raising funds and accepting gifts to support the work of Granville Health System.
Prior projects include:
1984 - $1.5 million campaign to assist with funding of the modernization program ($4.4 million project) to upgrade the physical plant of the Center with construction of a new three-story wing with twelve single-bed rooms for Med./Surg. Patients and a new six-bed ICU. Relocation of Radiology, Laboratory, Physical Therapy and Respiratory Therapy Departments into new addition. New addition provided expansion and modernization of Emergency Department, and a new patient elevator. Renovation of existing patient rooms, converting all to one-bed (private) rooms with toilets in every room.
1993 - $100,000 financial assistance provided for purchase of radiology equipment.
1996 - $1.2 million campaign to assist with 3-year modernization project – addition of an operating room/outpatient surgery area, redesign of 1st floor to mall concept with all outpatient services relocated to that area.

2002 - $8,500 Dutch Ophthalmology-Cryosurgery Cart
2004 - $10,000 Mammography Machine
2008 - $1,979 Gift Shop Remodeling
