GHS Expansion Plan & Corporate Giving
When your company supports Granville Health System, everyone benefits. Your organization is distinguished as a philanthropic leader and a business that cares about the health and well-being of its employees and community, while the hospital is able to grow and advance to meet the patients’ needs.
Why an Expansion Plan?
At Granville Health System, in addition to keeping pace with advances in health care technology and national patient safety requirements, we face several major local challenges, including:
• a dramatically expanding community population
• an increase in the average age of our citizens and, with it, an increase in their need for health care services
• an ever-pressing rise in the hospital’s annual admissions and emergency department visits
How Can Corporations Contribute?
Gifts from corporations take many forms, often depending on the company’s interests and the Health System’s needs. While some companies give cash unrestricted, others make gifts for specific technology upgrades for various departments, for hospital initiatives, and for special projects. Examples of gifts from corporations include:
• Unrestricted funds for areas of greatest need, which help the Health System take advantage of opportunities as they arise.
• Corporate matching funds.
• New building construction or upgrading.
• Partnership gifts that assist with operating costs.
• Programmatic assistance that helps upgrade outreach projects.
• Endowments to ensure long-term viability.
• Gifts of property.
The Giving Tree
